The planted avenue and aqueduct of Dobert
Rebuilt in the mid-eighteenth century at Avoise in the Sarthe, Dobert is reached by a long planted avenue between two outbuildings, and keeps an aqueduct with its irrigation system.

Château de Dobert is a château at Avoise, Sarthe, in the Pays de la Loire region of France. The recorded building campaigns date from the 18th and 19th centuries. Its architecture is recorded as classical architecture. It is protected as a monument historique at the second level (inscrit). Details are drawn from the Base Mérimée of the French Ministry of Culture.

The record describes a rectangular house with narrow rectangular towers on the courtyard side and two identical wings on the garden side, rebuilt in the middle of the eighteenth century from a building of the fifteenth and seventeenth. A long planted avenue serves the château between two outbuildings; behind the north one lie the farm buildings, barn, byre and dovecote. The 1989 listing names, besides the façades and the moats, the aqueduct with its irrigation system and the planted avenue that accompanies it, and the planted avenue of approach from the east.
