Château de Drée is a château at Curbigny, Saône-et-Loire, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. The recorded building campaign dates from the 17th century. It is protected as a monument historique at the second level (inscrit). Details are drawn from the Base Mérimée of the French Ministry of Culture.
Editorial reading
The record holds no history, only the 1959 listing of the façades and roofs of the château, of the outbuildings and of the two octagonal pavilions at the entrance to the park. Those pavilions are the record’s only word about the grounds; the gardens seen today, with their clipped yews and long axis, are not described in it.
