The landscape park of Les Grotteaux on the Cosson
Bought under the Directoire by Charles Bagieu, steward of supplies to the Grande Armée, the château of Les Grotteaux at Huisseau-sur-Cosson received from him a park with rare species planted along the Cosson and an orangery; the landscape park with its island, iron footbridge, landing stage and lock was listed in 1997.

Domaine des Grotteaux is a château at Huisseau-sur-Cosson, Loir-et-Cher, in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. The recorded building campaigns date from the 17th and 19th centuries. It is protected as a monument historique at the second level (inscrit). Details are drawn from the Base Mérimée of the French Ministry of Culture.

The record describes a château finished in 1620 on the site of an older house, restored by Bagieu, who had the park laid out — rare species on the banks of the Cosson, an orangery — and interiors that keep painted ceilings and mottoes. The façades were listed in 1954; in 1997 the listing was extended to the landscape park, including the islet on the Cosson, the works on the river — iron footbridge, landing stage, lock — and the built elements it contains: icehouse, vegetable cellar and enclosure wall.
