The château of Nuits in the Yonne, built in 1580 under an immense stone-dormered roof, stands in a park probably composed by Berthault, gardener to Joséphine and then to Napoleon; the whole domain, with moats, walls, gates and hydraulic machine, was classified in 2016.

Domaine du château de Nuits is a château at Nuits, Yonne, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France. The recorded building campaigns date from the 16th and 19th centuries. It is protected as a monument historique at the higher of the two levels (classé). Details are drawn from the Base Mérimée of the French Ministry of Culture.

The record describes a main block raised over a vaulted basement between two square pavilions, a surviving sixteenth-century range of outbuildings and a farm of the first half of the nineteenth century, and states that the park was probably composed by Berthault, gardener to Joséphine and later to Napoleon. The leat was listed in 2013; in 2016 the whole domain — all built and unbuilt parts, including the moats, the enclosure walls, the gates and the hydraulic machine — was classified.
