Vieux-Deffend is a manor house at Montravers, Deux-Sèvres, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. The recorded building campaign dates from the 16th century. It is protected as a monument historique at the second level (inscrit). Details are drawn from the Base Mérimée of the French Ministry of Culture.

The record describes a rectangular house, at once feudal in its defences and Renaissance in its taste, with mullioned windows, a door of the late sixteenth or early seventeenth century and brick bartizans at the corners, giving on a court of outbuildings to the west and on a pond to the east. The moats that once surrounded it are dry. The manor was listed in 1986. The pond is the water feature the record gives; the grounds are not otherwise described.
